Teaching Philosophy:

Professor Pasero grounds his teaching philosophy in a comprehensive approach that considers community-building, inclusivity and intercultural competency in the second language classroom. He firmly believes in the dual principles of the affective-humanistic and Freirean pedagogical approaches that work towards developing teacher/learner interactions, active problem- and task-solving activities, social awareness of the multiplicity of lived realities and community experiences, and a fostering of a collective dynamic and interactive classroom atmosphere.
